Over 300 downtown community members including staff, volunteers and attendees gathered at the Easter Sunday Celebration. In addition, the women’s center offered children an easter egg hunt & activities and each child was given a basket provided by the St. Francis House here in Sioux Falls.

So this donation from POET — that we still use today in the kitchen, men’s center and women’s center — was a blessing for us. Over 100 volunteers gathered at the Union Gospel Mission on Christmas Day 2021 to celebrate with guests and community members in the downtown area. The event started with a chapel service including song and prayer, and a holiday dinner followed.
