A place to sleep tonight

Call first if you can, so we can check if we have a bed.

  • Men — Men’s Center, 220 N Weber Ave. Check in 9:00am–10:00pm.
  • Women, alone or with children in their care (boys 11 and younger) — Women’s Center, 703 E 8th St. Check in 9:00am–8:00pm.
  • Women with children in their care (boys 12 and older) — Family Center, 703 E 8th St. Check in 9:00am–8:00pm.

You do not need to be the child’s mother. Grandmothers, aunts and guardians are welcome.

Every center holds chapel from 7:00 to 7:30pm, and we cannot check anyone in during that half hour. Please come just before, or just after.

Fathers with children: we are sorry — we do not have space for fathers with children. Please call 211. They will help you find a place for tonight. Call before you set out, so you are not turned away at the door.

What to bring

Bring any ID you have. You do not need ID to stay — it simply helps us record your name correctly.

Storage space is limited at all three centers, so please bring only what you need. If you are not sure, call us before you come and we will talk it through.

Alcohol and drugs are not allowed in any of our buildings.

A meal — you do not have to be staying with us

Everyone is welcome, seven days a week, holidays included.
220 N Weber Ave — cafeteria

  • Breakfast 7:00–7:30am
  • Lunch 12:00–12:30pm
  • Dinner 6:00–6:30pm

Food boxes

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00–4:00pm, in the same cafeteria. Please bring a box or bag to carry things home.

If we are full

Please call again the next day — beds open up.

For tonight, call 211. They keep track of who has space across Sioux Falls and can offer you more than one option. Always call ahead before you walk anywhere, so you know there is a bed waiting for you.
